1、 There are many suitable voltages for low-voltage LED light strips, ranging from 5V, 12V, 24V, and 36V. Generally, DC power is used, so a switching power supply is required. The size of the power supply depends on the power and connection length of the LED light strip. The wiring of the monochrome 5050 patch LED light strip needs to distinguish between positive and negative poles. Generally, we provide a welded power plug that can be directly plugged into the light strip power supply we provide. If you do not want each LED light strip to be controlled by a single power supply, you can purchase a high-power switch power supply as the main power supply, and then connect all the LED light strip input power supplies in parallel, uniformly powered by the main switch power supply.

2、 LED running light strips and RGB slide light strips require the use of controllers to achieve a changing effect during wiring. Phantom light strips are generally co anode, meaning that one of the strips is+12V and the others are all negative RGB with three negative electrodes. The control distance of each controller varies depending on the wiring. Generally speaking, the control distance of a simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, and the control distance of a remote controller is 15 to 20 meters, with a maximum distance of 30 meters.

3、 The maximum connection distance of LED light strips is 20 meters. If this connection distance is exceeded, LED light strips are prone to heat generation, which can affect their service life during use. Therefore, during installation, it is necessary to follow the manufacturer's requirements and avoid overloading the LED lights.
